Second World War (The Italian way)

On 25 July 1943, the Grand Council of Fascism ousted Italian dictator Benito Mussolini and the new Italian government began secret negotiations with the Allies to end the fighting and to come over to the Allied side. The final Allied victory over the Axis in Italy would not come until the spring of 1945 after Allied troops breached the Gothic Line helped by a large Italian resistance movement that in the north fought a guerrilla war against the German and RSI forces. At the end Italy didn't win but it didn't lose neither.

In the movie below an Italian lieutenant colonel refuses to captivate a German soldier who wants to be a prisoner instead to fight. Too much work for the Italian colonel (the great ALBERTO SORDI).

Ma chi sei? Ma che voi? Ma chi te conosce!
